Why should I hire Ash and Flower Child Weddings?
I don’t just check boxes — I make wedding planning fun, stress-free, and meaningful. I want you to enjoy this special time, keep your relationships strong, and save serious time, money, and sanity. And if we become friends after the wedding? That’s the best part for me!
Why hire a wedding coordinator?
Planning a wedding is way more than picking flowers and colors. It’s complex logistics, expertise in events, and high-stress management — things most people haven’t handled before. And when spending this amount of money, wouldn’t you agree it’s smartest to have someone manage the entire event?
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! I’m a registered LLC with full business insurance.
What types of weddings do you plan?
All kinds! Religious (religions of all kinds), Non-Religious, Civil, Traditional, Non-Traditional, Large & Small, LGBTQIA, destination, eco-friendly, vow renewals—you name it.
What budget do your couples typically have?
Most of my couples are investing between $50,000–$100,000+ for their 50-150+ guest wedding but depending on size, scope, location, and many other factors, I work with a wide range of wedding budgets.
Do you accept vendor kickbacks?
Never. And I only recommend trusted vendors who fit your style, budget, and values and who are genuinely good people.
Do you charge for an initial consultation?
Nope! It’s all about making sure we’re a great fit!
How much communication can I expect?
You’ll have full access to me via email, phone, text, and in-person when needed. I promise to respond as soon as I can. And since I'm not a team of planners, you will always be talking with me which makes for smooth lines of communication and nothing getting lots in translation.
Will you be at my wedding day?
Absolutely. I’ll be there with at least 1-3 assistants to make sure everything runs perfectly. And if another FCW coordinator is directing your wedding day, we will have agreed upon that up front but that is not common.
How will you and your team dress at my wedding?
Professional and event-appropriate changing from our set up attire of matching black company shirts and black tennis shoes into dressier shoes and suits and blazers for event time.
Can I stay involved and keep my vision?
Definitely. My job is to bring your vision to life, with your input every step of the way. We’ll discuss the level at which you want to be involved since it differs from couple to couple depending on their lifestyles and work loads.
I’m on a tight budget. Can I still hire you?
The budget is very relative so until we chat it’s hard to say if we’d be a good fit but typically my weddings have a minimum budget of $50,000 for around 150 guests (give or take) in the greater Atlanta area for the event itself (keeping more personal costs like wedding attire, wedding bands, rehearsal dinner, hotel stay, etc in a separate budget). This typical budget would scale up or down depending on the guest count, time of year, day of week, and other important budget related factors. And! I'm happy to chat and help you see where you may fall on that scale. Just ask!
Where do you plan weddings?
I take on events within about a 3 hour radius of the Atlanta airport
